Workshop for family and friends of people with addictive behavior. No registration required.

Our certified SMART Recovery facilitator will provide tools and techniques needed for people to help their family and friends through recovery from addiction, while also caring for themselves. Members will learn positive communication skills, ways to avoid enabling behaviors, and how to practice self-care. Members will also gain support and connect with other people experiencing similar challenges.

Taller para familiares y amigos de personas con comportamiento adictivo. No es necesario registrarse.

Nuestro facilitador certificado de Recuperación SMART proporcionará las herramientas y técnicas necesarias para que las personas ayuden a sus familiares y amigos a recuperarse de la adicción, mientras se cuidan a sí mismos. Los miembros aprenderán habilidades de comunicación positiva, formas de evitar comportamientos habilitantes y cómo practicar el autocuidado. Los miembros también obtendrán apoyo y se conectarán con otras personas que experimentan desafíos similares.

All ages. This is a COMPUTER-INTENSIVE, INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM.  1-on-1 help will be limited. Patrons will use TinkerCAD to create multi-colored, 3-dimensional bookmarks.  Bookmarks will be available for pickup at a later date after the program. Young children will need adult assistance.
