A day of service featuring the Ronald McDonald House

MLK Day of Service - We are opening the Carnegie Library today just for this special event!

Meet us down at the Carnegie Library to learn all about MLK's Day of Service and what you can do to help the Ronald McDonald House. Listen to a story about MLK. Enjoy a short presentation by a Ronald McDonald House ambassador. Spend some time decorating and stuffing snack bags to be donated to families staying at the Stony Brook Children's Hospital. It is going to be a great day! Please register as space is limited.

Note: The Ronald McDonald House is always accepting new blankets, hats, and booties which can include handmade crochet or knitted. And travel size toiletries are also always in need. Feel free to donate any of these items today at the event and the ambassador will deliver them for us.

Nos vemos en la Biblioteca Carnegie para aprender todo sobre el Día de Servicio en honor a Martin Luther King y lo que puedes hacer para ayudar a la Casa Ronald McDonald. Escucha una historia sobre Martin Luther King. Disfruta de una breve presentación a cargo de un embajador de la Casa Ronald McDonald. Dedica un rato a decorar y llenar bolsas de aperitivos que se donarán a las familias que se alojan en el Hospital Infantil Stony Brook. ¡Va a ser un día estupendo! Por favor, inscríbase, ya que el cupo es limitado.
