Join us for a trip down the river and across the bay!
Join us on this round-trip excursion, as we journey down the Patchogue River; Full of history, then cross the Great South Bay, and dine at the new & beautiful Whalehouse Point Restaurant at Watch Hill Fire Island! Enjoy light fare and conversation as you learn more about the tales and legends of Fire Island's past...with a few twists and surprises!
Ages 16+
The total excursion has a $15.00 non-refundable fee. Once registered you will be contacted for payment; you will have 3 business days to purchase tickets otherwise you will be moved to the waitlist. This event is rain or shine, you will be contacted if the ferry cancels due to severe weather.
Schedule:
Arrive at the Watch Hill Ferry Terminal at 1:00pm sharp.
Journey down the Patchogue River with a history tour presentation, then cross the Great South Bay to Watch Hill Fire Island. While there, enjoy your time at The Whalehouse Point Restaurant and sample their menu as The Patchogue Medford Library presents to you history, tales and legends of Fire Island's past, with a few twists and surprises!
Afterwards, we return home on a relaxing cruise across the bay and back to Patchogue! Pull away from Fire Island at 3:50pm to arrive back in Patchogue around 4:20pm.
