The American Revolution Experience, a collaborative project of the American Battlefield Trust and the Daughters of the American Revolution Colonel Josiah Smith Chapter will be on display at the Main building from April 6-11.

For grades 4-6. Step into the shoes of a Revolutionary War spy! Uncover the exciting true story of the Culper Spy Ring that operated right here on Long Island and helped the patriots win the War for Independence!
For teens in grades 6-12. Earn 10 hours of community service by helping design our Scooter Highway program! Teen volunteers will use art supplies to construct the immersive town for children to drive through. You must be able to attend all three sessions to participate, 4/6, 4/8, and 4/10. Certificates will be awarded at the end of the program on April 10th.
A representative from Suffolk County Office of the Aging will discuss different benefits and programs that Suffolk County offers its senior residents, such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicare Savings Program (MSP), and HEAP. The Advocate is available on a walk-in basis; no appointment required. Call the Library for more details.
