Calling all holiday helpers! Make someone’s day extra jolly by donating holiday gift wrapping supplies. Ribbons to wrapping paper- tissue paper to gift bags! Materials will be distributed throughout our ‘Tis the Season program and to Angels of Long Island.
For families with children of all ages. Drop in and celebrate Family Literacy Month with fun activities. This program will be held in the Children's Program Room.
Looking to volunteer? Literacy Suffolk provides one on one English tutoring to ESOL students throughout Suffolk County. This event will provide you with the training needed to be able to teach English to Speakers of other languages. Must attend all dates.
Suitable for everyone. Learn the basics and the principles of Sun Style Tai Chi using Dr. Paul Lam's easy to learn program. We will practice the Basic Six level of Part 1. This is an evidence-based program designed to help people reduce joint pain and improve balance. The gentle movements are easy on the body and fun to learn.
For children in grades 3-6. Come to the library for an hour of fun playing Minecraft. Hang out with other kids who love Minecraft while you play the game and complete in-game challenges.
