For families with children in grades 3-6. Together make a beautiful, intricate, mandala shell masterpiece. Each family will go home with one beautifully framed piece of art that they created together.
For teens in grades 6-12. Join us outside Carnegie to tie-dye! We will have plain white t-shirts for registrants, but feel free to bring one item of your choosing to tie-dye. Dress for a mess! This program is designed for teens to attend independently.
For families with children ages 2 to grade 3. Meet "Montauk Mike", the friendly shark on a mission! Author Nina Ross shares stories of this determined underwater explorer, followed by a sharktastic craft.

Explore the world of diamond painting- an exciting and accessible craft that combines the joy of painting with the satisfying process of placing tiny resin rhinestones onto a pre-printed canvas. For families with children in grades K-6. Adults and children can work together to paint a summer masterpiece while sipping sparkling cider. Please note: each family receives only 2 canvases. Dress for a mess.
All ages. Patrons will be making thaumatropes; optical illusions wherein the images on either side of a spinning "coin" appear to merge into one. Patrons will print and sublimate the two "halves" of their image on either face of a 3" circle, which will then be mounted to a laser-cut stand using 3D-printed brackets. Young children may need adult assistance.
