Everybody wants butterflies but they forget the most important part, the host plants! Learn about native butterflies and moths, their life cycle, and an overview of host plants.

For children in grades 3-6. Learn about native plants and how to help nature thrive. Registrants will receive a native plant and make a pot and water bottle to care for it. *This program will be held at the Medford Branch.

For grades 2-6. Join an experienced honeybee beekeeper as he explains the important and amazing job of the honeybee. See a real beekeeper’s suit and a small beehive (without the bees), learn how to do the dance the bees do to communicate, and much more! You will be buzzing to share what you learn!

This year's seeds can be next year's bounty. Save time and money by discovering which of your seeds can be saved for reproducing the same plant in the following season. Learn when to collect and process your seeds. Tips on proper labeling and storage methods will also be discussed.
