Backyard Wildlife
Meet a variety of LIVE animals that live right here on Long Island. Sweetbriar Nature Center will be here at the Main Library, today only.

This amazing program is for families with children in grades K-6 and takes place on Sunday, January 11th  from 2 – 3 pm.

Registration begins Friday, January 2nd.

Conozca una gran variedad de animales VIVOS que habitan aquí mismo, en Long Island. El Sweetbriar Nature Center estará presente en la Biblioteca Central, solo hoy.

Este increíble programa está dirigido a familias con niños de K-6 y tendrá lugar el domingo 11 de enero, de 2 a 3 de la tarde.

For families with children of all ages. Make someone’s day extra merry & bright by creating, decorating or wrapping a special gift for a teacher, family member, or friend. Enjoy festive music while creating! Teens will be available to help crafting and wrapping gifts on Tuesdays, December 9 and 16 from 3-5 pm and Thursdays, December 11 and 18 from 4-6 pm.

Suitable for everyone. Learn the basics and the principles of Sun Style Tai Chi using Dr. Paul Lam's easy to learn program. We will practice the Basic Six level of Part 1. This is an evidence-based program designed to help people reduce joint pain and improve balance. The gentle movements are easy on the body and fun to learn.
