Birds of Long Island - Learn how to identify birds in your area.

Are all cardinals red? what does a chickadee look like? Are there woodpeckers on Long Island? Give your family the skills and resources needed to really focus in and identify the many interesting birds on Long Island. This family program will cover bird behaviors, habitat, bird calls etc. This program is open to families of school aged children who hold a Patchogue Medford Library card. Registration begins April 1. This program takes place at our Medford branch.
